"By The Numbers" Heart 2 Heart Challenge

The new challenge at Heart 2 Heart is titled "By The Numbers". How can you use numbers on a paper crafting project? Check out the challenge to see how our team of designers interpreted the task!

I chose to use numbers as a journaling key. I numbered each photo and wrote coordinating journaling for each one on a PML card.

I used my "go to" alphabet stamp set, Typeface! Can't get enough of this stamp set and it was just right for what I needed to accomplish with numbers on this project.

This was my first chance to use the brand NEW "Regatta" Paper Collection featured in the NEW Seasonal Expressions book. I followed the online guide for suggested page layouts, kinda fun!

Absolutely giddy over how well this zip strip sentiment matched the photo I placed with it!

The NEW white and gold ribbon is a great finishing touch on this layout! Ooo Shiney!

What will you create "by the numbers"? Use your Close To My Heart products and make sure to enter your project by the end of this month!

Happy Crafting!

1st Grade Urban Layout

January is the month with #1 assigned to it. The first challenge at Heart 2 Heart for this month (and so far this year) has the #1 as a theme. What project can you create with a #1 in it? I used this as a chance to start scrapping the current school year for my Son and got his 1st Grade layout started! (You have until the end of this month to play along).

I used the colors and papers from the Urban Collection for my layout. I was very excited about how well my Son's school picture coordinated with the papers.

For the design of my layout I was inspired by a sketch challenge over at Let's Scrap! You have until halfway through this month to play along with this challenge too!

I used the new color, Peacock, as the base to my layout. It is a beautiful shade of teal-ish blue! It coordinates in beautiful contrast to the yellow and grey shades.

Hope to see you enter your projects at H2H and Let's Scrap!
